Ron Bonneau presents a commemorative 25 year anniversary plaque to Elburn Deputy Fire Chief Wayne Stevens to permanently display at the Elburn (Illinois) Fire station where the first NENA meeting took place. NENA began in Illinois with just 8 members and 25 years later has grown nationally to 46 chapters with over 7,000 members. The plaque was presented at the 22nd Annual NENA-APCO-ICC Conference in Springfield, Illinois on October 23rd. Illinois is the first and founding chapter of NENA.
